Konika Traders acts as a one-stop solution for colour printing, designing, commercial printing, book printing, and envelope printing. The first production machine the company purchased and installed was from Monotech Systems and the model was Konica Minolta 6501.

Established in 1989 as Konica Enterprises, the company’s name was changed to Konika Traders in 1992.

M Viswanathan, proprietor, Konika Traders, said, “Monotech Systems is my home ground since we have purchased our first machine. When it came up with the Ricoh machine, we had faith in Monotech. So, we purchased the 5310S model. I attended the demo and selected the machine for the sharpness of the print output and quality of the print when compared to other technologies.”

The company has an in-house cutting machine, a lamination machine, and a copier for meeting the customer requirement. “Achieving customer satisfaction and meeting the customer requirement is a major challenge since the customers compare the quality of digital output with the offset results,” Viswanathan said. “For production, we had Konica Minolta 6000. Since the agreement for service ended, we were looking for a new machine and so we compared various options and finally decided to go with the Ricoh.”

Built as a right-sized solution, the Ricoh Pro C5310S digital production press offers a fusion of vibrant colour, agile media handling, and a wide range of finishing options. With superior reliability, accurate registration, and intuitive controls, they are ideal for marketing agencies, in-plants, commercial printers, and franchise/pay-for-print environments looking for a total package — in a compact footprint.
