China Print launches online showroom

China Print 2013, which is slated for 14-18 May in Beijing, has launched the Online Business Match system so as to ensure resourceful online information services for the industry.

"The system allows exhibitors to upload their product information and visuals to the database which can be accessed through our websitewww.chinaprint.com.cn. The objective is to provide an online platform for the exhibitors to showcase their products," said a China Print official.

However, the system implemented on China Print’s website is facing limitations due to increasing size of the database. "To resolve this, China Print 2013 has cooperated with CIEC InfoCenter to construct a new Online Show Room system which will be available for users onwww.chinaprint.com.cn and www.ciec.com.cn," the official added.

The new system allows the exhibitors to log in with unique user ids and passwords provided by the organisers and upload product information and promotional PDF file. The system then generates a QR code for each product which could be seen on all official images in the exhibition. This will enable the on-site visitors to easily access the system with their mobile device.

In addition, the exhibitors who have opted for upgraded account get preferred top positions in search results of the system as opposed to the free accounts. The system provides accurate usiness matching result for accounts that have purchased upgrade services. "We wish the new Online Show Room system could help the participants discover more business opportunities," concluded the official.
