Choudhary Offset is a classic example of a great family enterprise with its roots dating back more than five decades.

“My father Rajendra Singh Choudhary, who had extensive experience in the field of printing, initiated the business and we followed him to brave all odds during our growing and challenging times. Finally, our quest for developing a family business came into existence when we formally launched Choudhary Offset in 1995,” Hansraj Choudhary, managing director, Choudhary Offset, said.

He is joined by his brother Mukesh Choudhary in the business.

A large team of around 300 employees plays a vital role in maintaining overall efficiency, accuracy, and timely printing and production at Choudhary Offset.

“We are a one-stop shop for complete print solutions. Our product portfolio consists of books, journals, souvenirs, diaries, calendars, stationery, brochures, newsletters, etc. We have also been involved in printing educational materials for regional and national level competitive examinations for lower and higher-class students,” Hansraj said.

He added, “We are among the pioneers of security printing in the region. In this, we indulge in printing bank cheques, dividend warrants, lottery tickets, university, confidential college and school documents like certificates, mark sheets, etc.”

He said that the company was looking forward to getting into new ways of innovative and advanced printing. This is the reason why it invested in the Ricoh Pro C7200 digital colour production press to explore newer prospects and applications on the digital printing front.

“The Ricoh Pro C7200 is not the first Ricoh machine we have installed. We are already a user of Ricoh Pro 8300S, a monochrome production printer for printing inside pages of short-run books and many other black and white documents. We have chosen the new Ricoh Pro C7200 after replacing a Xerox Color 1000 digital production press from our facility. For us, this new Ricoh colour production press ticks all the boxes of quality and productivity in our commercial digital printing,” he said.

The Ricoh Pro C7200 is a perfectly engineered digital colour production printer capable of running at the speed of 85-ppm. It’s compatible with a broad range of heavy and lightweight stocks up to 360-gsm, delivering crisp and sharp images in 2400x4800-dpi resolution.

“We have our old offset department with some high-end presses like Heidelberg PM 74 and many post-press machines including automatic guillotines, die-punching and stitching machines, binderies, etc,” he said, adding that Ricoh Pro C7200 in their digital department is totally a new horizon.
