Clariant adds desiccant packets to its production portfolio
Clariant Healthcare Packaging recently added the production of desiccant packets to its healthcare packaging business, which is being manufactured at its Cuddalore plant in Tamil Nadu.

According to Arora, positive market response to canister desiccants produced at the Cuddalore site influenced the new investment for additional capacity. “The addition expands the range of desiccant products immediately available to customers in the region and increases global capacity,” added Arora.

The Cuddalore site is part of Clariant Healthcare Packaging’s global network of five production plants that also include Changshu and Dongguan in China; Romorantin in France; and Belen in New Mexico, USA. All the five of plants now produce desiccant packets.
