Coimbatore sees two Canon installations
Zig Zag Art Printers and Focus Digital Images located in Coimbatore have added a Canon C7010 VP digital production press and a Canon C6010 respectively to boost production capacity. The move comes as a result of the booming short-run markets says Canon officials.

Zig Zag Art Printers, which deals in commercial offset printing has more demand for visiting cards printing.
“Printing visiting cards, which is a short-run job does not economically favor the offset technology, hence we opted for Canon C7010 VP,” said Ratnavel and Mahesh, partners at Zig Zag Art Printers. The company also are using the C7010 VP to print on synthetic substrates.
Canon C7010VP, the digital colour production press is capable of printing on coated as well as uncoated paper ranging from 54gsm to 325gsm offers value-added features such as variable data printing at 1,200x1,200 dots per inch resolution. The machine was voted as the most popular colour cut-sheet digital press for the month of July, 2013.
