Printers Collective Stand will be in the Hall 8, Stand S983 at the fair.

Gopsons Papers, International Print-O-Pac, Jayant Printery, Manipal Technologies, Multivista Global, Nutech Photolitho Graphers, Parksons Graphics, Replika Press, Repro India and Thomson Press India will be part of the Collective India stall.

P Sajith of Welbound said, “The collective stand is the perfect platform that a lot of publishers will be looking at with interest. Instead of the few odd independent stands that we have seen in the past, this time we have an opportunity to create a brand for Indian book print. This will definitely send out a strong message. This has to be looked at as a team effort, an attempt to market India as a print destination and focus our attention in making a great presentation of our capabilities to the International publishers.”

The idea of a collective stand took root during London Book Fair when meetings were held with the organisers of Frankfurt Book Fair. The India collective stand will be similar to stands that many countries like Thailand, South Korea, Russia etc have already undertaken.

The stall of the Indian printers was conceived at the National Book Printers Conference (NBPC) in Kerala during November 2011 which was hosted by Welbound Worldwide.
