Cosmo First appoints Yamini Kumar as whole time director
The board of Cosmo First, an over four-decade old conglomerate with a global presence, has appointed Yamini Kumar Jaipuria as whole time director, corporate strategy, ESG & CSR, for a five-year term, effective immediately.

Kumar is an accomplished business leader with nearly two decades of experience as vice-president, Human Resources at GE Europe, Asia, and India. along with significant contributions as a corporate advisor to Cosmo First since 2020.
Jaipuria will support the chairman and managing director in transforming the company into a future-ready organisation and work closely with the board, Group CEO, and business/functional heads on Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) including corporate social responsibility and business ethics. Her focus areas will also include social media, employer and corporate branding, and diversity and inclusion, along with leadership building and nurturing of the next generation of leaders within the organisation.
Before her appointment as whole time director, she served as corporate advisor to Cosmo First since 2020, where she played a pivotal role in transforming the HR function, CSR initiatives, social media strategies, and the company's entry into the omni-channel pet care business, Zigly. As managing trustee of Cosmo Foundation, the CSR arm of Cosmo First, she launched and sustained initiatives focused on education, women empowerment, and environmental protection.
Her career includes nearly two decades as vice-president, human resources at GE Europe, Asia, and India, where she received over 50 awards for business excellence and HR Impact, including the GE India President Awards five times.
