“We’ve been leading the way and driving the development of connectivity based on the JDF and JMF standards for many years,” said Roland Kost, head of R&D at Muller Martini Print Finishing Systems. “Muller Martini systems are also open to other data formats, which is important in book production, for instance.”

The company aims to do it with the help of its Connex workflow solution, which is based on JDF/JMF and integrating it with the print firm’s Management Information System (MIS). “This will enable the formation of impressive production chains that are geared to efficiency in order to tap into new markets,” said Kost.

Muller Martini will showcase all the benefits of seamless connectivity with live demos at Hall 2 / Stall A49.
