The countdown to Ipex begins: six weeks to go

The stage is set for Ipex 2014. The six-day show, titled as ‘Discover the power of print’ commences on 24 March at the Excel London Exhibition Centre.

Co-located with Ipex, Cross Media Production will enable print providers, publishers, agencies and brand owners with an opportunity to equip themselves with a lowdown on building, managing and delivering cross media campaigns. The show will demonstrate cross media technologies and ways to implement multi-channel marketing campaign with print at its heart.

The show boasts of 500 global exhibitors and the latest technology on display with live demonstrations by various exhibitors. The key names include Air Motion Systems (AMS), Atlas Machinery, Autobond, Baumer, CGS Publishing Technologies, Chengdu Xingraphics, Domino, Duplo, Edelmann, EFI, Epson, Fujufilm, GMG, Goss International, Hunkeler, KAS Paper Systems, Komori, Konica Minolta, Presstek, Xeikon and Zund.

In addition to this, 130 content sessions have been designed with workshops and discussions to address the main issues that printers are facing and help them identify new business opportunities.

The other key features of the show include The World Print Summit, a strategic thought leadership programme; the Future Innovation zones, which will showcase printed products and technologies like digital print on packaging, 3D printing and printable electronics; Inspiration Avenue, Eco Zone and the Make Ready Challenge, which is intended to inspire and generate new print ideas.

A special feature at the show is the Master Classes, a practical workshop to ensure the work forces from SME printers receive the support required.
