Course for publishing professionals on 13-16 September

The Covid pandemic, digital technology and the growth of Artificial Intelligence have brought about major changes in the working of the publishing industry. The transformation is expected to be dramatic in the coming years. All those who are a part of this industry need to understand these changes and prepare their strategy to face the challenges that the future will bring.

According to SK Ghai, chairman, Institute of Book Publishing (Sterling Publishers), the course is for authors, editors and managers working in small as well as large publications, NGOs, government departments producing publications, and fiction and non-fiction publishers including magazine publishers, educational publishers and children’s book publishers.
“This course will give you an overview of the major issues faced by the publishing industry in the 21st century due to digital technologies. It will provide you with knowledge about the critical issues and enable you to look for answers to tackle them. This foundation will help to demystify the issues and resolve the misconceptions related to digital marketing and Artificial Intelligence. This course will also help you in your journey to becoming a knowledgeable and confident publishing professional in this digital era,” Ghai said.

The course is designed and conducted by leading publishing professionals who will share their practical experience with the participants. 

The event will take place in a hybrid way at the FPBAI office in Daryaganj, New Delhi. There will be four sessions every day from 11 am to 5 pm. 

The fee for the course is Rs 15,000. There is an early bird discount of 10% up to 31 August.
