Creed Engineers has initially introduced two models – Lombardi Synchroline and Lombardi Screenline. Synchroline enables the printer to print on a very large gamma of different materials; from adhesive paper to extensible materials needed for packaging industry. Screenline is a modular machine for the production of silk-screen printed labels.
Synchroline is equipped with printing groups governed singularly by brushless motors. The setting and maintenance of the printing register of the whole press is governed by the electric board with a system of register control. This enables printers to real-time correction of the deviation from the register, which may happen due to the extensions of the material.
Screenline produces reel to reel or reel to sheet silk-screen printed labels. The machine is available in two formats — 250x250 mm and 330x330 mm — and is equipped with electronic boards for the running of brushless motors. These boards are directly connected with the electronic control panels for the programming of the squeegee stroke, the set-up of the paper feeding and the adjustment of the transferable film.
Neeraj Sharma, general manager - machine sales, Creed Engineers said, “Printers today seek the possibility of printing on extensible materials needed for packaging industry. The problems relative to the maintenance of the printing register in these cases are well known by the printers. So here, the servo driven technology becomes crucial which Lombardi is offering. Also, there is a clear benefit being derived out of the synergy of association of Creed Engineers and Lombardi, which will have a value addition to our product portfolio to serve the Indian printing and packaging industry.”
