CRISIL upgrades Kanan Graphics' credit rating from SE3B to SE2B

Mumbai-based Kanan Graphics, a renowned dealer for pressroom chemicals and consumables in Western India has been upgraded to a credit rating of SE2B from SE3B by CRISIL

SE2B rating means that Kanan is now termed as a company with "high performance capability and moderate financial strength" according to CRISIL.

Chetan Shah, the owner of Kanan Graphics is proud and delighted with his achievement. "The upgrade in our rating is due to our adequate credit protection which gets reflected in debt to equity ratio. We have been thriving to provide a varied product application across a diversified customer base. Finally, we have managed to establish relationship with key customers and suppliers leading to stability of demand and stable supply of raw materials."

The key customers of Kanan include names like TCPL Packaging, Parksons Packaging, Mail Order Solutions, Utility Printpack, Sel Jegat, M K Print, Orient Press, and big name in flexo UV printing. "Arets has set up more than 15 ink kitchens for print firms. At Barcomm Solutions in Vasai, on behalf of Arets, we installed their first flexo ink kitchen."

With more than hundred customers under its belt, Kanan Graphics is the largest authorised dealer of Arets Graphics in Western India. It is also the distributor of adhesives for Pidilite Industries apart from being an importer of rubber blankets and print consumables from Printec in Brazil.

An authorised dealer for TechNova CTP systems, plates, processors and chemicals, Kanan has now acquired the dealership for selling Xerox digital printing machinery.
