Call it cross media or integrated solution, all advertisers want is to be heard in the increasing din of media marketplace. This has made one-stop selling a feasible option.
The second-time winner since the category was introduced last year, Silverpoint Press, with its package, which included print and digital in the form of augmented reality, video and mobile apps, produced samples that put the spotlight on the synergy between print and digital, with a potential to bring in more business for its clients.
The entries included Naira brochure for Emgee Naira, a card with augmented reality, which, when viewed through the image, brought to life an audio-visual of the Naira site location, the Rising City brochure for Redifussion promoting the product digitally via a video while the Rak Naon Pix catalogue for Rak Ceramics and Rajgurj – Hastkala catalogue for Aakruti Creative Solutions launched through its Apps available on Playstores.
The judges, who voted for the Silverpoint samples, said the solution has much wider reach. Saifee Makasarwala of Silverpoint said, “The idea is to make print shake hands with digital and thereby make print more powerful.”
In 2013, after spending 38 years printing innovative calendars and brochures, highlighting the creative possibilities print has to offer for the benefit of the advertising industry, and setting print standards that are today industry benchmarks, Silverpoint expanded to include automated marketing tools to its portfolio.
The company’s print arsenal includes Heidelberg presses with an online coater, Agfa CTP with Apogee workflow and GMG software for colour management, among others.
