Currency Note Press invites tenders for supply of printing and finishing equipments

In a recent tender issued by Currency Note Press, Nashik, a unit of SPMCIL (Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India), wholly owned by Government of India on 11 December, 2014. it has invited tenders to supply the following items for the both Currency Note Press and Bank Note Press in Dewas.

The bid lists supply of,

-Two sheetfed dry offset machines with minimum four colour and speeds of minimum 10,000 sheets per hour 

-Two indirect inking intaglio printing machines with minimum speed of 10000 sheets per hour along with auxiliary machines for wiping solution and its waste treatment (WSRTP)

-Two numbering machines printing at minimum speed of 10000 sheets per hour

- Four bank note finishing machines for sheet cutting and packing bank notes in bundle forms with minimum speed of 375 bundles per hour (each bundle consisting of 1000 bank notes)

The last date of submitting tender is 30 January, 2015.

The security press has instructed the bidder to have manufactured and supplied or commisioned the machine earlier to a bank note printer.
