Dabur upgrades 15 government schools in Uttarakhand

Dabur India has revamped the infrastructure in 15 government schools in Uddham Singh Nagar district, offering school-going children in the region a better learning environment. These 15 schools, revamped over the past two years by Dabur’s CSR arm Jivanti Welfare and Charitable Trust, were inaugurated by chief development officer Vishal Mishra at a special function organised in Government Primary School, Jagdishpur.

Mishra appreciated the development initiatives undertaken by Dabur and encouraged the company to continue undertaking such work in promoting education in the region. Such initiatives will ensure a brighter future for the kids, he said.

Dabur’s Pantnagar unit HR head Avanesh Yadav said Dabur has upgraded the infrastructure in around 30 government schools in the region to ensure that local children have access to better facilities. Under this programme, Dabur will be upgrading 5-6 more schools in the coming year.

“Education is both the means to a better life and a key to ensuring the overall development of society. The education programmes form a key pillar of Dabur’s development agenda. Under this programme, Dabur has been revamping the infrastructure in schools in rural India to give students a better learning experience and environment,” Yadav said.
