Dainik Bhaskar Group wins ABCI, Power Brand awards
It’s raining awards at DB Group, one of the country’s largest media companies that publishes seven newspapers, including the flagship Dainik Bhaskar, which has 40 editions, among other ventures.

Recently, the company won two coveted awards from the Association of Business Communicators of India (ABCI). Meanwhile, the company was named the ‘power brand’ in the media and entertainment sector at the Indian Power Brands 2016 Awards organised by the Planman Media.
The group received the ABCI awards in the categories ‘prestige publication’ for its brand manual and ‘Indian language publication’ for its in-house magazine Samvad during the 55th annual awards event held in Mumbai.
This is the 10th edition of the Power Brands Awards, which was organised in New Delhi. The awards were conferred by the hands of minister of minority affairs Najma A Heptulla.

The ABCI is the first organisation in India to have successfully launched the concept of accreditation programme in India for business communicators and the public relations fraternity. For the past 51 years, ABCI has been organising the annual awards night to recognise and reward outstanding talents in business communications. These awards are considered to be the ‘Oscars’ of business communications in India.
