LACP, based in the US, was established in 2001 to create a forum within the public relations industry across the world that facilitates the discussion of best in class practices within the profession while also recognising those who demonstrate exemplary communications capabilities.
The awards were conferred for Dainik Bhaskar Group’s annual report FY 16 and for the Corporate Calendar 2017 at LACP Spotlight Awards 2016-17 organised by LACP. The Annual Report and calendar themed ‘Zidd’ were ranked at 4th and 5th positions respectively in the overall Top 25 global list. The Dainik Bhaskar Group is the only Indian company to feature in the Top 25 Winners Gallery.
The campaign ‘Zidd Karo, Duniya Badlo’ urges individuals to take a determined step towards bringing about a transformation in every aspect of life and society to create a better world. The campaign has won several national and international awards. The Group has amplified this campaign across multiple platforms – television, print, corporate collaterals and digital media. The theme ‘Zidd Karo, Duniya Badlo’ is an all-encompassing philosophy aligning the Group’s activities to its vision of being ‘the largest and most admired media brand enabling socio-economic change.’
The 2016-17 Spotlight Awards corporate publishing competition drew one of the largest numbers of submissions ever, representing a broad range of industries and organisational sizes. Materials were judged in peer-level competitions.
Kaacon Sethi, chief corporate marketing officer, Dainik Bhaskar Group, said, “We are honoured to receive the LACP recognition. We have imbibed the Zidd Karo Duniya Badlo philosophy that drives us to go that extra mile to transform intent and determination into action. We sincerely appreciate this recognition as it provides us with further impetus to do more.”
