Sonal Sheth, director, Daya said, “PrintPack was a great success for us right from Day One. We have secured multiple deals during course of five days which includes seven sets of automatic lamination machine, few double-side thermal lamination, five sets of thermal lamination with foiler and three sets of embossing machines.”

Sheth said PrintPack was rewarding as the company was able to showcase its full strength. “This time footfall was staggered due to increase number of halls but visitors had clear agenda to attend the show,” she said, adding, “We have been regularly participating in PrintPack since its first edition and we have seen it grow exponentially. It is nothing less than Drupa. This time every exhibitor had a bigger footprint than previous edition. The scale of presentation has also increased.”

Sheth said PrintPack is a show where some customers visit with clear agenda of purchasing and other are here to do homework for future buying. Its also a knowledge gaining ground for those who want to venture into newer areas. “We have closed many deals and post show also expect to close few more,” he said.

Sheth said packaging is growing multifold and commercial has a different growth tangent in digital short-run print on demand segment.

Neeraj Sheth, director, Days, said, “Since its inception, PrintPack has certainly grown in terms of number of exhibitors and scale of participation. Though the show is organised by members themselves, who form its core committee, it is equivalent to any professional show. The organising and participation is transparent, fair and smooth from the day of booking to the last day of winding up. We would certainly suggest a six-day show since its huge and visitors need time to attend the show. The main motto of IPAMA organising PrintPack is “by the members, for the members” and that is why it is organised at most economical rates so that all manufacturers can get platform to showcase their products and gain business. This was the sole purpose of forming IPAMA by its founders and our father the Late HV Sheth.

Daya has been serving this industry for the last past 63 years and spread its wings in 54 countries worldwide. “We have succeeded in creating an excellent reputation in India as well as in international market as a specialist in the field of print finishing, packaging and paper converting machines,” Sheth said.

The machines are manufactured under stringent quality control to ensure reliability and trouble free performance, specialists in range of automatic laminating, platen punching, reel sheeters, window patching, paper cuillotines, carton folding and gluing machine, corrugation plants, etc with network base throughout India. The company’s export clientele covers Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East, Far East Asia, Taiwan, Australia and Latin America, Canada, and the USA.
