Alliance Printech finalised two deals for its Newflex V370 label printing presses at Labelexpo India, one with an African customer, while the other with a print firm in North India.

Of the two machines sold by Multitech, one will go to Hyderabad-based Team Labels and another to Zambia-based Print Fast.

“It’s a good opening for us. We are expecting to book at least six machines during the exhibition,” Jatinder Julka of Alliance Printech said, adding, “The Newflex V370 has evolved from its present range of Novaflex-XS flexo label presses. It is a 370-mm press, powered by an ELS driveline, chilled UV and featuring die-cutting and matrix rewinding units, among others.”

While Julka did not want to divulge the details of the deals as yet, he said one of the machines will go to an African country and the other to a print firm in north India.

According to Julka, both printing presses are of 370 mm width, fully servo-driven with all stations UV.

He added that the African customer will use the machine for shrink sleeves and in-mould labels. The Indian customer will use the machine to print pressure-sensitive and all filmic labels.

The Multitech presses to be installed at Team Labels and Print Fast are eight-colour, all station servo driven, UV from GEW, 330 mm web width and online foiling, turn bar and other advance features.

Amit Ahuja of Multitec said, “The show is fantastic for us, as it always has been. Besides these two deals, we expect to close five or more deals by the end of Labelexpo India.”

B Murali, director, Team Labels, who was at the show on Day Three, said, “We have an imported narrow-web flexo printing press with us and wanted to invest in an Indian machine to meet the increased demand of labels with economic price. We found the Multitec kit suitable for us.”

Globally, the total count of Multitec’s narrow-web flexo printing presses has reached 171 now.

Alliance claims to have around 20 installations of narrow-web flexo printing presses and more than 200 installations of its entire range of products. The company exports its products to countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Ghana and Ethiopia.
