Deepak Lamba replaces Tarun Rai as the CEO of WWM

Worldwide Media, the wholly owned arm of Bennett, Coleman & Co, will see a change of leadership, with Deepak Lamba replacing Tarun Rai as the CEO of the subsidiary. Lamba will assume the role after a month, post Rai's notice period.

The new role will be an additional responsibility for Lamba, who has been performing in the capacity of the president at the Bennett, Coleman & Co (Times Group). Today, WWM has 13 magazine titles under its belt, which include Femina, Fimfare, Lonely Planet, Top Gear, and Good Homes.

 
Rai, who served at WWM for seven years (since 2008) will serve as the South Asia CEO for J Walter Thompson (JWT). Prior to his stint with the Times Group, Rai was associated with JWT for 19 years and five months.
