Del Monte forays into health and wellness segment
Del Monte has forayed into the health and wellness space with the launch of Heart Smart and ACE juices.

The company claims that Heart Smart consists of reducol, which is a natural plant-based ingredient that is clinically proven to reduce cholesterol in eight weeks While, ACE is a mixed fruit juice fortified with Vitamins A-C-E.
Yogesh Bellani, CEO, FieldFresh Foods, said, “We have always given the highest priority to quality and healthy options while bringing new products to the market. We hope to create new benchmarks in this segment as our beverage with Reducol will be India’s first Juice that helps lower cholesterol. India has a sizable number of people suffering from cholesterol and heart ailments. We are focused on helping consumers improve their health through our products.”
The new product developments are a result of Del Monte’s research, in which it found 46% of consumers look for added nutrition while choosing a snack, and 51 per cent of buyers look for made with natural ingredients.
Both products have a shelf life of 12 months and are available in 240 ml packaging.
Priced at Rs 70, the juices have been made available on Amazon from 11 May 2020. They will also be available in supermarkets and eCommerce portals across cities including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru in the near future.
