Xerox D110 is an entry level light-production digital press capable of producing 110ppm of print resolution 2,400 x 2,400 dpi. It uses the EA low-melt toner, to ensure a better match to the offset quality and delivers grey scale and high density black. The maximum sheet size it can accommodate is 13inch x 19.2inch.
Rakesh Bhargava of Ramko, said, “The newly installed Xerox D110 digital press will help us to serve our customers with short-run print on demand books. Most of the orders we receive are getting shorter in run lengths and for all orders below 750 copies, we plan to go digital. Xerox D110 perfectly suits us as it has a maximum sheet size of 13inch x 19inch which allows us to print up to eight royal size pages in one sheet at the lowest print cost per page.”
The press was installed by Insight Communication, distributor for the Graphic Arts equipment for printing industry in India, making it their first installation of this series. Insight also represents other brands like Komori, Kodak, HP, Xerox, Screen, Soma , etc.
