Denzil Smith to host the PWI Awards Night
The big night is just five days away and PrintWeek India team is delighted to announce that this year’s PrintWeek India Awards Night will be graced by one of the most nuanced actors in the entertainment business.

This year’s Awards Night will be hosted by Denzil Smith, a renowned Indian film and stage actor, who has worked with some of the best talent in India from Amitabh Bachchan to Naseeruddin Shah and Irrfan Khan, as well as international super stars like Omar Sharif and Peter O’Toole and Dame Judi Dench.
Smith has been a veteran of the stage for 20 years and has appeared in more than 29 films and 40 plays. He has effortlessly made audience laugh or cry depending on the part he has played. He is known for his movies The Lunchbox (2013), The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel series, Phantom (currently running). Presently, he is shooting for a Gurinder Chadda film based on the life of Lord Mountbatten which boasts of an international star cast.
Held on Wednesday 7 October at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, this is the seventh edition of the PrintWeek India Awards; which be telecast by NDTV Profit.
The event is a formal ceremony with a sit down multi-course dinner, is attended by delegates comprising the who's who of the Indian print industry. Most of the 113 print firms, who submitted their Award entries, have turnovers from Rs 10 crore to Rs 1,000 crore. This includes top print firms (national and international).
