Imtiyaz Shaikh and Riyaz Shaikh, owner of Dezigner Enterprises, said, “After going through various digital presses available in the Indian market, we found the Canon V1000 to match our requirements, such as speed, quality, processing speed, colour management with EFI Fiery D3000, printing speed and quality on 400-gsm paper, auto duplex banner printing, standard envelope printing, etc.”
The machine was installed at the company premises on 28 April, and Imtiyaz Shaikh said, so far, the performance of the machine is up to the mark and the engineering support is up to the industry standards.
Established in 1996, Dezigner Enterprises started with DTP and printing (offset and screen printing by outsourcing), and started its digital printing in 2004 with a Xerox DC-12, before acquiring three more Xerox DC-12 machines.
The company got its first digital production machine in 2008-2009 – a Xerox DC 5000. This helped Dezigner Enterprises reach the volume of 1.75 lakh per month. As the volume increased, it got its Ricoh C901 in 2013.
In 2015, the company installed India’s first five-colour Ricoh 7100X.
“We always gave our customers the best quality and services with unique technology,” Riyaz Shaikh, the younger brother of Imtiyaz Shaikh, said.
Today, the company has two digital production printers, including the Canon ImagePress V1000, one thermal lamination machine, one JWEI digital die-cutting machine for full die-cut/half-cut/creasing, one Intech digital die-cutting machine for half-cutting.
“To survive in this competitive market, you have to give your customers the best quality, service and unique prints and finishing services,” Riyaz Shaikh added.
The new Canon ImagePress V1000 is a digital colour production printer exhibiting a perfect synergy of new superior technologies, incorporated over well-established previous models, with enhanced media flexibility and higher productivity.
The new series, suitable for the mid-production digital print environment will offer users features such as versatility, viability, high-volume printing, and vibrant print quality.
It’s designed to address most of the challenges of graphic print environments like consistent print quality, front-back registration, high media switching time, limited media handling capability, lesser productivity and low equipment life. Various newly incorporated technologies are used in ImagePress V1000 to address these key customers' challenges and come out victorious over other equipment in its class.
