Paris-headquartered Diadeis, which earlier this year acquired India’s leading FMCG pre-media packaging firm, Alia Creative Consultants, has recently invested in Graphic Systems Group (GSG), an independent American graphic production agency.

This has escalated Diadeis' position from among the top five to among the top three global players in the industry. According to Jean-Charles Morisseau, Diadeis’s president, the increased presence will strengthen its ability to meet the needs of leading brand owners across all their global markets more efficiently.
“By using a single agency like Diadeis, brand image can be unified across all communication media and all over the globe, providing the client with quicker time-to-market and costs reduction, explained Sethunath Padmanabhan, Diadeis-Alia's managing director.
For more than 30 years, New York-based GSG has associated itself with leading brands, including L’Oréal, Novartis, Abercrombie & Fitch, Avon, and NBC providing services for special promotions and full-scale production consolidation, offering multilingual packaging mechanicals, pre-media services, digital, visual merchandising and software implementation.
“The United States is the leading market in consumer packaging,” said Morisseau. “In order to get established in this market, one must be able to offer a comprehensive service and have the means to take on substantial projects. Diadeis’s strength has been its ability to pre-empt leading brand owners’ needs in the global marketplace.
Diadeis employs more than 600 people around the world, and is planning to keep strengthening its global footprint by opening several additional subsidiaries across the world in the next few years. On the sidelines of the Alia acquisition in May, Morisseau detailed his expansion plans and the growing Indian pre-media segment.
