Digambar Vasudev Joshi has passed away at the age of 89. He was the founder-director of Shree J Printers and the senior-most member of the Poona Press Owners Association (PPOA).

He was a pioneer in the printing industry and an inspiration to many. His invaluable contributions were recognised when he was honoured with the Mudrankala Jeevan Gaurav Award by the PPOA during the association's recently held 105th anniversary celebrations.

As a stalwart in the printing world, his legacy lives on through his son, Raveendra Joshi (past president of the All India Federation of Master Printers) and Chandrashekhar Joshi, director of United Printers.

A message issued by the PPOA said, "Digambar Vasudev Joshi’s profound impact on the industry and the lives he touched will be remembered forever. Joshi’s wisdom and guidance will be dearly missed by all who knew him."
