Digital, eco-friendly market for marketers at Media Expo 2016
Recognising the emergence of new media channels in a digitalised world, brand managers and media planners today are working on a cohesive approach with both traditional and digital media to connect with their consumers. In this, Media Expo, touted to be the country’s largest exhibition for indoor and outdoor advertising, signage and printing industries, plays no small part, as it brings together all the stakeholders in the industry in one platform.

As the Expo returns to New Delhi from 29 September to 1 October 2016, the industry is set to witness marketing become more modern, digital and eco-friendly, besides boasting an array of innovations.
Spread across 12,444 sq/mt of exhibition area, the 39th edition of the show at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi will host over 175 exhibitors primarily focusing on new-age solutions in print, signage, point of purchase, indoor and outdoor advertising, retail and shop displays and visual merchandising.
According to the organiser, Messe Frankfurt, the Delhi edition of the show is expected to be busier than ever with participation from seven countries besides India. Mahesh Thakur, group exhibition head, Messe Frankfurt, says, “Seeing the demand at the previous editions of Media Expo in Delhi, we had to increase the exhibition space this year. This year, apart from India, we have participation from Japan, China, Germany, United Kingdom and Korea."
Thakur said the exhibition will showcase new products for visitors, ranging from printing to laser etching technology to indoor and outdoor signage, with a special attraction of 3D printing and laser prism by Promocare.
"This edition of Media Expo will have more exhibitors and will be bigger than ever,” Thakur said. He added that this year most companies have increased their exhibition space, as they see business potential growth in the northern market.
Thakur said this time around, marketers from corporate and creative industries will get to witness new product innovations – in printing, laser etching technology, indoor and outdoor signage, along with a special attraction of 3D printing and laser prism.
Some of the leading brands like Apsom Infotex, TCS, Rex Tone, ITMS, JN Arora, RD LED, Megastar, Neenjas Technologies, TechNova, AXYZ Automation, Navratan Speciality, Kartar Corporation, Konica Minolta, SRF, Admart, Infinity Digital Solution, Plasto India, Arihant Uniglobe, Associated Plastic, Monosign, Monotech, Daksh Enterprises, Briotmatics, Negi and Axis Enterprises have confirmed their participation at the show.
One of the highlights of the show would be the first look and the live demonstration of two new HP DesignJet printers.
Sunsign Technologies and ADDmart will have the biggest booths.
Companies like Colorjet, Roland, Mimaki, Fujifilm will be showcasing their products in Hall 11, while Hall 12 will be dedicated to signage industry and will host exhibitors like Cosign India and Sign Sutra.
