Inprintout Creation is a true meeting of minds, when two friends, both past students of Mumbai’s JJ School of Art, and both with their individuals businesses and 20 years of experience in graphic designing, advertising as well as print production and architectural signage manufacturing, came together to open a ‘digital printing’ business.

But why Canon? “We studied all the options available in the market and found Canon Imagepress C600 to be the best in terms of cost, print output quality, service commitment, and better media handling,” said Aniruddha Gumaste, one of the partners and directors of the company, adding, of course, Canon is a brand.

This is the new company’s first colour production machine. The company came into existence in June 2015.

Gumaste said the kit is rugged and sturdy, and has 2400x2400 dpi resolution, CRT technology for exact front-back registration, 300 gsm auto duplex paper printing possibility, and long printing possibility up to 13x30 size. It also has the latest EFI fiery, the latest colour calibrator over all latest IT products in its class.

“Media handling is superior in the machine. Various textured media will get clear and crisp image and proper filling of colours on texture papers, plus we could use sticker media and other NT papers,” said Gumaste.

According to Shantanu Kulkarni, the other partner and director of the company, colour output from the machine is excellent. Also colour consistency in print output from the first print to 500th print it will results in less job rejection and more customer satisfaction, which will result in repeat business from customer.

Currently the digital printing facility has a staff of six people and is equipped with latest pre-press and post-press machinery in a 600-sq/feet area.

“I think we are on the right track,” said Gumaste. “We are seeing an increase in volume every passing day, as the machine gives best print output that increases our volume of printing. As the market is volatile in terms of rate, we are getting both rates and volume because of high quality output and service we are giving to our customers.”

In future, the company is planning to grow in digital printing industry. “Further, we are planning to focus on book printing and binding,” said Kulkarni, adding that the company is focused on providing end-to-end solutions to its customers under one roof.

In all, both Gumaste and Kulkarni said they want Inprintout Creation to be one of the best digital printout centre in Western Maharashtra with all in-house printing facilities available in cities like Pune and Mumbai.

Both the directors have been successfully running their own businesses individually for the last 20 years, Anuruddha Gumaste under MM Creation in Sangli and Shantanu Kulkarni under Corporate Ideas in Ichalkaranji having corporate client base and offering designing and printing jobs in different segments. In print, they offer designing, packaging, photography, digital, offset, and screen printing; in exhibitions, space design and management, display materials; in signage corporate identity, signage design, signage execution; in multimedia digital web book, PowerPoint, motion and audio CD; in interior designing design consultancy, and execution and in web design development, and hosting.
