Dina Color Lab installs India’s first AccurioPress C6085
Chennai-based Dina Color Lab have installed India’s first Konica Minolta AccurioPress C6085.

The company which took the plunge into commercial printing under the banner of Dina Digital Prints with six print shops across Tamil Nadu at the start of this year have added four more locations so far and plan to add a minimum of 10 more in the near future.
“We are seeing steady growth across all our locations and this investment in AccurioPress is also considering the demand in this location and the advantages it brings with its unique features,” said M Dinakaran, managing director of Dina group of companies.
According to Konica Minolta, the AccurioPress C6085 which was launched in September worldwide and only a week back in India, is said to have 400 gsm printing capability, 47 inch banners, and automated closed-loop colour and image quality controls, with the new IQ-501 ‘Intelligent Quality Optimizer’ and can print at a speed of 85 ppm.
“With its increased paper handling capability and several features to make the entire operating experience simpler and smoother, we found this to be the right investment for our requirement. Also, our long-standing relationship with Konica Minolta’s team made it even easier for us to choose this press,” added Dinakaran.
Speaking to a news website about the launch of AccurioPress in India, Yoshinori Koide, director of Konica Minolta said, “Customers including graphic communication providers, CRDs and Print Service Provider’s operations will all benefit from these simply efficient presses. This new generation of true production systems has been designed to ensure improved uptime and deliver even higher quality printed materials with greater reliability and stability.”
