To win this Award, Synthesis Communication submitted a bunch of compelling samples, which the judges said connected with the need of personalised correspondence.
The company, a first time winner of the PrintWeek India Awards, sent three different samples it produced for Tea Culture and one for Coalese Events. While confabulating among themselves, the judges argued that products like these help direct mail gain popularity and reach the right people, in more ways than one. According to Synthesis, both the clients provided PowerPoint files of their requirements, based on which the company made dummies and secured the orders.
A Komori Sprint with IR dryer was used to print the jobs, which were then thermal matt laminated with glitter spot UV and punching. The company produced boxes that were made using velvet laminated paper, which was both unique and engaging. One of the special feature of the Coalese Event mail, yet difficult to do, was matching the perfect elements and pasting the cover with book for see-through, which was achieved by punching the book after binding.
