Varanasi-based packaging company, DK Printers, recently invested in Bobst Eterna Ecut 1060 with stripper. The machine was supplied and installed by Suba Solutions.
Jay Kathuria, owner, DK Printers, said, “The machine was installed in our facility around September last year. It has greatly improved our productivity and we have no complaints. It is an extremely satisfactory machine.”
The fully loaded die-cutter with four-side stripper can handle duplex and three-ply fluted sheets.
DK printers has a wide customer base and produces incense sticks, pharmaceuticals and food packaging boxes. Post makeready, the entire job is automated. “Our production has almost doubled ever since we bought the Eterna. I couldn’t be more pleased. I’d recommend everyone who does the same sort of work that we do to buy it,” Kathuria said.
He added that the machine was easy to adapt to and use. The DK Printers team was trained to use the machine within three days and since then, have used on-call support for any difficulties they have faced.
Kathuria said he chose the Eterna due to its brand name and Suba’s reputation, but added that the machine has delivered beyond his expectations. “Previously, to attain the same levels of production, I had to use much more efforts with multiple manual machines and labours. With this machine, the process is smooth. The service and support that we have received from the Eterna team thus far has been brilliant.”
DK Printers soon hopes to purchase a folder-gluer from Eterna as well.
Kathuria said, “We were in touch with Suba Solutions for months on the die-cutting project. What is most satisfying for us is the commitment of Suba to the growth of DK Printers. They studied our requirements and analysed the various facets of our business. For an upcoming organisations like ours, there are multiple challenges — space, capital, manpower, changing priorities, changing timelines, etc. Suba stayed with us throughout, sharing business growth ideas, strategies, vision, road map, etc. And the most wonderful point was that they were always there to elevate our thoughts and goals. And when a great deal was announced during Drupa, they passed on the same to us thereby facilitating the purchase of the Eterna. With this kind of approach and support, we will travel a long way with Suba Solutions.”
