Domino showcases latest coding solutions at CPHI 2019

The M230I incorporates the latest i-Tech features and its flexible yet hard-wearing unit comes with an automated print and apply Tamp solution that has the ability to handle a variety of label sizes. The machine comes with a dual pad design, which ensures accurate label placement and readable print quality. It also features an intuitive touch panel colour user interface and the quickstep software allowing end-users to navigate through various functions.

The M230I has a 30% longer ribbon and label capacity of 600m. Its tool-free magnetic printhead mounting allows for minimum downtime and comes with an added benefit of a wide range of standard applicators such as Tamp, Blow, Wipe and corner wrap.

“We have shown this machine for the first time to the Indian market. Among the other solutions available at the stand, some can either be integrated with their machines and others can fulfil their coding and marking requirements. The M230I is the first machine from the M-Series unit to incorporate Domino’s intelligent Technology (i-Tech) features and QuickStep user interface. The machine is designed for secondary and tertiary packaging applications across a wide variety of industry sectors,” a company spokesperson at the stand explained.

The company also displayed its D620I CO2 laser coder. The D620I has higher coding speed and works effectively on hard substrates such as hardened glass, metals as well as soft substrates such as plastic and paper along with dosage identification. Domino also displayed the V230I digital thermal transfer coding and thermal inkjet printers used for printing on cartons.
