The competition attracted 82 entries from 13 countries across six categories namely environmental responsibility, exhibitions and events, innovative application/unique media, outdoor advertising, retail point of purchase/point of sale and vehicle graphics.

Philippines bagged four honours followed by China. And India was at par with Australia, Thailand and Taiwan, with each winning one award.

The awards were presented at a gala dinner in Shanghai on 11 July, commemorating the importance of creativity for Print Service Providers (PSPs) who have leveraged HP’s digital printing solutions for their signage works.

Martin Carballo, director, HP Scitex – graphic solutions business, printers and personal systems Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan said, “We are excited to see some really outstanding submissions this year. We hope the award winners can find new revenue opportunities ahead with HP through their printing portfolio. This year’s winners have once again demonstrated how they can add greater value during the pre-and post-press treatment process by introducing new elements such as engraving to create additional value for end-users.”
