“The team is overwhelmed with the received recognition. It reinstates our efforts and belief in producing the best quality every time,” said Sethu.

Since 2003, the NEHRDO organises the Rashtriya Udyog Ratna award for work par excellence across the fields of science and technology, business, industry, education, health, industrial leadership, banking, health, women entrepreneurs etc.

The Udyog Ratna award for Sethu is a testimony of his efforts for creating business opportunities in the SME sector. “A leader is as good as his team and clients. It’s an opportunity to thank them for their continual effort and contribution towards the Alia brand creation.”

The awards, he said, are an expression of gratitude to its clients. “Our clients have been instrumental in consistently pushing us and our boundaries to deliver the best results. It is a reflection of their trust in Alia and our commitment to quality. From here, our levels of efficient and effective solutions will only increase,” added Sethu.

Alia has been at the forefront of investing in colour management systems. Recently, the firm has invested in an HP Indigo WS4500 digital offset press to be able to innovate and produce prototypes and mock-ups with press-like quality for the customers and for proofing the flexo and gravure jobs. Besides this, the firm has created Pack Lab, a joint initiative by Alia and HP, which is dedicated space replicating the shelf of a retail store. The Pack Lab showcases packages as they would appear on the shelves.

Alia  is the largest pre-media supplier to Unilever in Asia-AMET, Cadbury's-Kraft, General Mills, KCL, Kansai Nerolac, 3M, Dabur Foods and many more.
