DPA celebrates Printers' Day
Continuing its social work and philanthropic gesture, Delhi Printers' Association celebrated the Printers' Day at the city-based orphanage Arya Anathalaya on 24 February 2025 by serving mid-day meal to about 700 students.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of printing, Johannes Gutenberg, who invented the Art of Printing in the 15th century, printers celebrate the day as Printers’ Day.
Soon after their classes were over at 1.30 pm, their teachers first lined up the junior students for taking meals from the hands of some of DPA's former presidents, office bearers and EC members who distributed different food items one by one.
DPA hosts Holi Milan 2025
Delhi Printers' Association organised its flagship Holi Milan at Shah Auditorium on 8 March 2025 with usual fun and frolic.
The hall was full of an excited audience. Some of the senior former presidents, office bearers and executive committee members assembled on stage and lit the inaugural lamp.
The president of DPA Puneet Talwar wished everyone on the International Women's Day. He thanked all for sparing their time to participate in DPA's Holi Milan function.
While the chief guest was East Delhi MP and Union Minister of State for Cooperative Affairs and Road Transport & Highways Harsh Malhotra, the guests of honour were Ashwini Gupta, president of newly formed All India Federation of Printers and Packagers, Prof Kamal Chopra, past president of AIFMP and chairman of international affairs committee of AIFPP as well as Virendra Sachdeva, president of Delhi Pradesh BJP committee and OP Sharma, MLA from Vishwas Nagar.
In his address, Harsh Malhotra said as a life member and former president of DPA, he still relishes old memories of Holi Milan and other printer-friendly events organised by the association from time to time. He expressed his thanks to his seniors, especially Arun Bansal, Vijay Mohan and Arun Berry, who continue to guide him even now.
Ashwini Gupta praised DPA for the endeavours it has been undertaking for the welfare of the printing industry.
Prof Kamal Chopra indicated the crucial role of each colour in our life. He said while for men yellow is just yellow, the womenfolk differentiate its various shades in their apparel. He drew big applause when he said we must realise the power of printing and gave the example of Harsh Malhotra who as a commercial printer rose to the rank of two Union Ministries.
Virendra Sachdeva pointed out that he also belongs to a printer's family and assured of all help to DPA.
As MLA from Vishwas Nagar Om Prakash Sharma appreciated DPA for playing Holi with the printing fraternity.
