Dr Ajit Ranade to deliver the key-note at the PWI Conclave

As Noel D'cunha, the deputy editor of PrintWeek India said: "One of the things, the Indian print industry is grappling with is, how can we have a long-term strategy instead of the present incrementalism. In the past few months there is a cornucopia of economic advice and acronyms being doled out. This has made senior thought-leaders in the print industry, very anxious. It is in this sense, we need a tip from the top. We're hoping Dr Ajit Ranade will share his insight on macro economic trends and point out how to cope with it."

Dr Ranade heads the Corporate Economics Cell (CEC) and is a research-based advisor for the Aditya Birla Group. CEC deciphers the business environment by continuously tracking, assessing, analysing and forecasting global and domestic economic trends and policies. It provides analytical inputs and economic information to different decision-makers in the Group at the corporate as well as business level. It also provides inputs on risk management relating to economic variables such as currency and commodity prices.
