Drupa 2024: Bobst, Multigraph tie-up to consolidate Bobst's footprint

Under the partnership, Multigraph Kenya will represent Bobst for all its products across seven countries in East Africa, specifically targeting the growing economies of Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda and Rwanda.

The partnership proposal has been under discussion since 2023, culminating in an announcement at Drupa.

Multigraph Kenya was established in 1995 and has established a good network in the region's printing and packaging industry.  “The GDP of this region is growing at 7% annually,” said Pradeep Shah,  managing director of Multigraph. 

With a network of over 220 converters already in the region, Multigraph Kenya is well-positioned to service the needs of Bobst's existing 150+ customer base. Parksons Packaging, too, has put up a 60,000-sqft plant in Tanzania.”

With its local presence and knowledge of the market, Multigraph Kenya aims to leverage these advantages to capture new business and support Bobst's growing customer base across East Africa.
