Headquartered in Chennai with its production plant in Andhra Pradesh, Kora Pack was established in 1986 as a screen printer catering to small jobs. Games at the company had abruptly changed right after the installation of a Komori Lithrone GL740, a seven-colour press with UV coater, around a year ago. “We were fully satisfied with the press as we eventually could do make-ready within 10–15 minutes. Our waste reduced to 100-120 sheets against the earlier wastage of 400–500 sheets,” said Prasad Kora, managing director of Kora Pack.

He added, “After our increasing trust in the brand Komori, we thus decided to bring home our second Komori press, which happened to be a Lithrone GL-640+C UV IR that we have booked at Drupa 2024. Now, we are excited to announce the expansion of our Komori portfolio with the purchase of the new Komori Lithrone press.”

Jitender Rohilla, general manager-sales, Komori India, highlighted the fact that the new six-colour press which Kora Pack placed its order during Drupa 2024 is ideally an advanced model designed to enhance efficiency and productivity in packaging printing. It can print 16,500-sph in a maximum size of 750x1050-mm.

Komori Corporation’s Booth E-02 in Hall 15 at Drupa 2024 is designed to offer visitors a gamut of key products and innovations firsthand.
