Nippon Color is a leading Cron representative in India.
“With violet plates becoming scarcer and their prices soaring, newspapers are seeking cost-effective alternatives, turning to CTCP technology,” said Akshat Pardiwala, director at Nippon Color.
“This growth in sales comes after Cron launched its upgraded G+ model. The new enhanced version of Cron’s popular model G benefits from adding automation features, improved stability, and increased flexibility to add autoloaders, punching and multi-direction transport bridges,” Pardiwala added.
Cron claims it ensures high-resolution dot reproduction for superior imaging and reduced waste. “The lowest level of maintenance makes the G+ series the most cost-effective CTP available today,” said Pardiwala.
At Drupa 2024, Cron is showcasing its printing technologies, including offset CTP systems, HDI flexo CTP, environmentally friendly Emerald printing plates, and the innovative EZC intelligent printing system. Cron asserted that the EZC intelligent printing system represents the forefront of the fourth printing era.
