Xerox has put together a graphical interpretation of these messages with its ‘Twitter Visualiser’.

The visualiser, which is constantly updated, can be seen on a big screen in the Social Media Cafe on the Xerox stand (Hall 8b, stand A62-1).

Among the information displayed is which topics within the framework of Drupa are being tweeted about the most, which countries tweets about Drupa are coming from and how many Drupa tweets are being posted each hour.

“Business”, “solution” and “innovation” reflect the application related topics from the Drupa innovation park and the Drupa cube. However, technologies also remain an important topic, with “inks”, “inkjet”, “offset” and “technology” being the frontrunners, according to the statistics.

Awards and prizes are also attracting attention – “award” has a prominent place in the visualiser.

The majority of tweets are from the home of Drupa, western Europe, but North America is hot on its tail. Africa and South America are way ahead of Asia as tweet sources (5%-6% compared with 1% for Asia). Eastern Europe, meanwhile, is yet to make a significant showing.

The red info boxes around the exhibition grounds also show what is being tweeted. They also provide information about upcoming talks and events and a weather forecast.
