The event, which was part of the Print Art – 2010, was attended by print luminaries and printers from all over India.
R K Abrol of DTP Print-O-Pack received his award in front of over 30 members from Jammu. "I feel satisfied receiving this award. The printing industry in Jammu and Kashmir is growing in its outreach and the recognition through awards signify that," he said.
DTP Print-O-Pack Jammu was established in 1994 as a pre-press unit. Soon it expanded to include screen printing. Later, with backward integration Abrol, a technocrat by qualification converted his unit into a fully commercial printing house by adding mini- and medium-size sheetfed machines. "Printing is art and I am passionate about this art," said Abrol.
