A dual premier for Müller Martini

The company also premiered the latest iterations of its Sigmaline digital book production system, which now features a Pantera digital perfect binder; the hybrid version of Diamant MC book line; and the enhanced Primera and Presto saddle stitchers.

Hence at Drupa, we are presenting systems that are designed for both offset and digital under the slogan ‘Digital ready’. ”According to Müller Martini, the need for short runs and fast make-readies means the Alegro entry-level perfect binder is a perfect solution for processing both offset and digital jobs.

The line includes a gatherer perfect binder and stacker, and is completed by the new Solit threeknife trimmer, which is equipped with the patented SmartPress technology.

With the hybrid version of Diamant MC book line, Müller Martini said it was targeting the photobook segment, which increasingly required a higher quality finish.
