Cyrel Easy simplifies the pre-press process by building flat top digital dot directly into the plate, resulting in increased productivity and consistency. SiMingLuo said, “The latest flat-top-dot plate technology delivers color complexity and workflow simplicity. Owing tothese features, we have received many queries from Indian customers for trial runs of the Cyrel Easy plate.”
The company also launched “next generation” thermal plate processor DuPont Cyrel Fast 2000TD system.
The 2000TD processor works with Cyrel Fast thermal workflow that uses solvent-free thermal processing to produce a press-ready finished plate in one hour or less. “Compared to traditional plate processing solutions that require the use of solvents and require long plate drying times, Fast technology is not only solvent-free, but also dramatically improves productivity because it eliminates the drying steps,” said SiMingLuo. It is a mid-size format equipment suitable for flexible packaging and tag and label applications.
Speaking to PrintWeek India, SiMingLuo revealed that DuPont has recently closed a deal of full in-line plate-making workflow with a Mumbai-based convertor for its factory in Nigeria.
The India flexible packaging market, according to SiMingLuo, is very promising. “As the run lengths and lead times are reducing and customers are looking to create finished products withless turnaround time. This is where Cyrel Fast 2000TD is well-positioned.”
DuPont has sold 15 Cyrel Fast processors in South Asia region.
SiMingLuo said, “Indian flexo market has been very promising. A significant number of CI presses were installed last year and equal number of installation is expected in the next 12-18 months which will be a boost to growth of flexo in flexible packaging market.”
