Dupont comes on board as the sponsor for Label Printer of the Year Award

Dupont India has confirmed their sponsorship for "Label Printer of the Year" category at the PrintWeek India Awards 2012.

Mahesh Kode, manager technical sales and marketing, India said: "Dupont India will be sponsoring the “Label printer of the Year”. We have been associated with PrintWeek India for a long time but this is the first time we have come on board as a partner for the PrintWeek India Awards."

“Until last year we have been an audience at the awards. The growing response that the Awards has been getting year on year has helped initiate this association", said Kode.

Dupont at Drupa has managed to get excellent orders from India in flexography in packaging and printing markets.

The judging for the Awards will take place on 28 July 2012 and the Awards Night on 30 August, 2012.

As in the previous three editions, a select panel of jury comprising of print customers and experts will evaluate print entries in 24 categories. "The jury members of the previous two editions were print buyers who sought creativity and functionality. In fact, some of them tapped the award winning firms for print jobs; and thereby ensured business for the participating firms," added Ramakrishnan.

The deadline for sending entries for the fourth edition of PrintWeek India Awards is 29 June 2012.
