DuPont wins IFCA Star Award for innovations leading to sustainability

The DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions team was honoured with the Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) Star Award 2024 during the ceremony held on 12 December at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) in Mumbai.
The Cyrel South Asia team accepted the award in the presence of key players from the Printing & Packaging Industry.
DuPont’s newly launched Cyrel Easy Fast EFM has won the prestigious IFCA Star Award in the category of innovations leading to sustainability. With sustainability as a key driver for the global print market, brands are opting to replace plastics with paper and are using recycled paper for their packaging. According to the company, Cyrel Easy Fast EFM photopolymer plates are optimised for a wide variety of paper substrates, including coated, uncoated, rough, and recycled papers. It also offers a safer work environment through the reduced use of solvents, energy efficiency and increased productivity in plate processing.
A company statement said that with this recognition, Cyrel Flexographic Solutions seeks to further introduce innovative and sustainable solutions to the market, leveraging groundbreaking technologies that ensure reliability without compromising print quality results.
