“We have invested in this new Ricoh digital colour production press with an aim to push our printing business to a new elevation for newer applications,” Rabin Dutta, proprietor of Dutta Printers, said.

Rabin Dutta, 68, who has been in the industry over the last 41 years, is today joined by his son Rupam Dutta in business. Located in closer proximities around Jadavpur, Dutta Printers has four units. Digital machines running in the four units include Canon Océ PlotWave 750 and 345, Xerox Versant 280, HP DesignJet Z6, etc.

Citing the reason why they chose the new Ricoh Pro C7500 over others, Dutta said, “This Ricoh digital press has advanced features and capacities.”

He added, “Currently, 80% of our works are for students of Jadavpur University who come straight to us for printing their study materials and academic documents such as thesis, project reports, dissertations, etc. Besides these, we are now gearing up to engage in new verticals of digital printing using the new Ricoh Pro C7500. This is our new mission just to be unfolded in full swing using the new Ricoh workhorse.”

According to Dutta, the company is still in the initial stage to exploit the advanced features and capacities of the Ricoh Pro C7500. “It’s a matter of barely a couple of months since we installed this Ricoh digital press. We are pretty much sure that a lot more in terms of quality and enhanced graphic printing can be done with the press’ prowess and potential.”

Dutta said the company is still have to explore a lot new possibilities like adding effects to graphics like never done before using the fifth color station of Ricoh Pro C7500. The station is packed with seven toners for special colours like neon pink, white, clear and many more. “Finally, we are thankful to the all-time supportive team of Monotech Systems Limited for the machine that unfolds a new mission in our commercial printing,” Dutta concluded.
