Eagle Press bolsters their post-press with Kolbus

Chennai-based Eagle Press installed a Kolbus BF 527 and FE 604 hard cover lines to their existing fleet of post-press equipment.

Started in the year 1956, Eagle diaries are market leaders in india and occupy a significant place in the world market too with more than 160 varieties of diaries and versatile note-books part of their offering.

The machine consists of five stations namely gauzing, rounding, head and tail banding and casing in with book forming.  It has a rated speed of 60 cycles per minute and expected to produce 3600 diaries per hour. ‘Kolbus co-pilot’ technology is enabled in the machine to control operations to ensure easy changeover of jobs

“The quality expectations of buyers is increasing by the day and automated machineries with significantly high throughput is imperative and that weighed in on our decision to invest in this machine,” said Pratap Singh of Eagle Press.

The company recently launched their ‘Popular’ brand of diaries for the year 2013 with state-of-the-art features.
