EFI and KM extend support to NPES Conference 2013

The NPES Print Business Outlook Conference 2013 boasts of leading graphic communications companies and publications as sponsors.

Most recently, EFI stepped in as the platinum and Konica Minolta as the silver sponsor for the two-day conference to be held on 24-25 February at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.
 
Marc Olin, senior VP and general manager APPS, at EFI stated, "We appreciate the benefit that NPES is providing by introducing us to a significant quantity of potential clients in India. This is an important opportunity for us to expose the range of our solutions to a new set of prospective clients and further strengthen our presence in the country."
 
Themed ‘Mission Possible - how to profit from new technology', the conference is co-organised by the Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association (IPAMA) and leading names of the industry such as HP, X-rite, Goss International, Manroland, Prime UV, Xerox, Provin Technos (Mitsubishi), and QuadTech. The event is also supported by the US Commercial Service (USCS), the All Indian Federation of Master Printers Association (AIFMP) and the Indian Newspaper Society (INS).
 
Ralph Nappi, president, NPES said, "We are pleased and gratified that these industry leaders have shown a strong support for the conference, enabling us to offer a comprehensive event to industry executives and managers, who are involved in providing technology solutions for commercial printing, publishing, converting and packaging, whom the conferece is best suited for," he added.

 Over 200 print leaders are expected to participate in the two-day conference.

Day one of the conference will encompass presentations on global trends for the printing industry, challenges and opportunities for the industry, offset and digital: complementing not competing, making print come alive—trends in integrated marketing, ideas and initiatives for organisation success, how to generate new revenue and cost savings through automation in printing and packaging, and hot technology trends that you should be watching.

Day two of the event featuring industry 'gurus' and leading research analysts will delve into the future of newspaper publishing, new developments in press colour and waste reduction, Indian print media: geared for growth, pressroom of the future: commercial printers, press finishing technologies—UV drying and coating technologies, new developments in colour for flexible packaging printing, and packaging: a digital colour growth market for the printing industry.
