More than 600 delegates from India and abroad are participating in the ongoing event, which would conclude on 28 July 2019. Highlighting the conference’s theme – Future Next – Kuldeep Goel, president of LMAI welcomed the delegates to the conference.
Pankaj Bhardwaj of Avery Dennison in his keynote address indicated that it’s high time the label industries leaped into the digital era. He said, “Take technology as an enabler.” He added, “If you’re not on the right track of technology, change fast. If you’re already on the right track, then run fast.”
Denoting a positive indication of growth for label manufacturers, Bhardwaj said, “India has an age profile median of 29. This is 10 years lower than the US or China. We have a growing economy, diminishing rural-urban divide, an aspiring middle-class. India is fertile ground for label growth.”
Further, Manish Desai, chairman of LMAI conference committee, shared the agenda of the conference with the 600 plus delegates and 34 sponsors. Presentations on various topics would be held on the following days.
