Since ours is a proprietor firm, my husband Nithyanand and I share equal responsibilities in all areas to sustain and improve our business. I take care of maintaining accounts, production control and filing taxation.
I accidently stepped into our family business. I found this business (screen printing) has more opportunities to explore my creativity. Screen printing is a vast subject; it has applications in various industrial sectors such as electronics, textile, packaging, advertising, etc.
My interest in screen printing is oriented towards innovation within the arena of commercial printing, I mean, application of UV special effects on jobs such as visiting cards, brochures, wedding cards, company catalogues, etc.
For me, women empowerment is to live freely with a sense of self-worth, respect and dignity, to make their own choice and decision in their life. Women empowerment means freedom in socio, economic, religious, and financial status of a woman.
